Your Fortnite Crew Membership Gains More Value
the Fortnite The Crew Pack is available through a monthly subscription and will reward players with 1,000 V-Bucks and a new skin each month.
For many gamers this is great value for money as a typical skin can cost over 2,000 V-Bucks, so the service is sort of profitable if you are someone who really likes spending their money in the game. object shop.
We’ve seen Epic try to spice things up and sweeten the deal by offering things like Disney Plus and Spotify Premium as bonuses for the subscription, but it looks like they’re working on something even better.
While getting such bonuses is nice, many players would prefer something in the game, be it special emotes, extra XP, or something like that.
Ultimately, Epic has something like this planned, but it will benefit longtime subscribers instead of players who just catch it for a month and unsubscribe.
According to Fortnite HYPEX Leak, this new feature is a progressive skin that will progress every month. Here’s what we know so far.
Progressive crew appearance
HYPEX says this feature is still in development, so it might take a while to see what it looks like, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have information.
The leaker says that there will be an outfit that progresses more and more each month, with the idea that one day you will have full skin.
Although this feature is not yet available, HYPEX mentions that it will have its own screen and that the next skin step will be displayed as the end of the month approaches. What is not clear is what would happen if someone unsubscribes.
A simple solution to this would be to give the skin a 6 month unlock time, or something like that. This means that if you subscribe for six consecutive months, the skin is yours. If you subscribe for five months in a row, take a one-year hiatus, then subscribe, the skin is yours.
We don’t know how it will work, but it seems like an easy problem to fix.
How soon can we expect this?
HYPEX says the feature is still under development, so the August Crew Pack probably won’t include it.
However, it looks like things are going well behind the scenes, so we might not be too far away from this becoming a reality. What’s important to note when it comes to Epic Games is that things are always fluid. Just because something is being worked on or found in files does not mean that it is coming into the game.
Remember when all the leakers found Peter Griffin in the files? For some reason this was never explained and it is now unclear whether the character will ever find his way to Fortnite. We don’t even know how it would work if added, so maybe it’s for the best.
We will keep you posted on any future changes to the Fortnite Crew subscription service in the future.
