Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is officially underway, ushering in a new wave of content for players to enjoy in the summer of 2022. Along with a selection of new weapons, items, and points of interest, Fortnite Populate the island with a new type of collectible customization item: Tover Tokens.
Epic Games‘ ever-popular free-to-play battle royale title wrapped up its controversial Chapter 3 Season 2 with the “COLLISION” finale event. The season-ending cinematic event saw the diabolical Imagined Order face off against the Seven on the player side, with teams of four players piloting the massive Mecha Strike Commander in order to defeat the Collider doomsday machine. Dr. Slone and the collider have finally been stopped, but a new threat is already looming on the horizon.
Where to find Tover Tokens in Rocky Reels
Similar to Fortnite‘s Omni Chips from last season, Tover Tokens are collectibles scattered in clusters at various points of interest around the island. Rather than customizing a pickaxe, the item is used to exchange a large collection of body parts for Snap, which is part of the Battle Pass for the past season. While Rocky Reels isn’t a new location, its outdoor nature makes it easy to spot, so knowing exactly where to go can be the difference between early elimination and success.
- Token Tover 1: The first Tover token can be found at the southern entrance to Rocky Reels. Head to the Rocky Reels arrow sign, where the first token will be sitting on the path next to it just before the wall.
- Token Tover 2: Players can get the second Tover token on the playing field along the eastern edge of the area, where the object is right in front of the seesaw.
- Token Tover 3: The third and final Tover token is located in the northernmost building in Rocky Reels. Head to the northern end of the POI, where the token will be at ground level inside.
It should be noted that instead of being a general in-game currency to be spent on customization options at will, the Tover Tokens collected are for specific body parts. For those in Rocky Reels, players will unlock the Tenta-Classic arm, a disturbingly fleshy alien appendage. Once players have collected all three, they can head west to collect more Tover Tokens at Reality Falls, one of this season’s new Named Locations.
Fortnite players can stumble upon one of this season’s new items while searching for tokens in the new area. The new items are called Reality Seeds and have unique characteristics. Harvested around the Reality Tree, seeds quickly sprout a Reality Sapling, which produces fruit that players can hack and yield rare weapons and items. Saplings can be revisited in subsequent matches for even better items, building on the system created with the Tent item.
With over a dozen different Tover Token locations including Seven Outpost 7, The Ruins, and Sleepy Sound in the first week alone, players will definitely have their hands full collecting tokens this season.
