Every story needs a good old-fashioned villain and the GTA series, one of the world’s most popular games, is no different.

And if it weren’t for the greedy, sadistic, and loathsome villains featured in the series, the games hardly have been as great as they are. As engaging as it is, any good game needs a morally distorted antagonist that players can passionately and relentlessly spit hatred on. Otherwise, the game’s story wouldn’t really move in any direction.

This article is about 5 of the best villains featured in the GTA series.

5 scariest villains from the GTA series

# 5 Devin Weston – GTA 5

While the old jerk isn’t exactly a tone-doped gentleman, no one can deny that he’s by far one of the best villains in the GTA series. As a character, Devin Weston, while undeniably loathsome, is very real. Under the facade of a self-proclaimed philanthropist, Devin Weston rules the underworld by exploiting the inhabitants of Third World countries.

Towards the end of the game, Devin Weston finally does something useful and falls to an unfortunate but well-deserved death, bringing relief to players that they feared would never come.

# 4 Sonny Forelli – GTA Vice City

It’s impossible to talk about the villains featured in the GTA series without talking about Sonny Forelli, the guy who made Tommy Vercetti’s life hell. Not only is Forelli barbaric in his manners, he’s also extremely cynical and never really trusts anyone. His manic explosions and frightening threats are some of the most captivating scenes in GTA Vice City.

# 3 Drago Brevic – GTA 4

Another ruthless villain who gives star protagonist Niko Bellic a goal and never fails to piss off the player. The interesting thing about Draco is that he shares a story with Niko, as both of them made careers in the Soviet Army before turning into Russian gangsters.

Perhaps the reason they never got along, even in the underworld, is that Niko was nothing but aware of his actions; while Draco Brevic seems to enjoy his notoriety and does not think about his crimes.

# 2 Frank Tenpenny – GTA San Andreas

Of course, Tenpenny and his scoring shots make players want to cross the screen and choke him to death on the spot. He’s the most hated person in the GTA series if there ever was one, but no one can deny that he does a really good job masquerading as the kind of villain he’s been meant to be ever since. the beginning. Corrupt. Dirty. Sadistic. Hosted by Samuel L. Jackson, Tenpenny seems to know what it means to be an antagonist in a world-famous franchise.

# 1 Big Smoke – GTA San Andreas

And, of course, we can’t talk about the best GTA villains of all time without raving about the heartbreaker stabbing in the back that has left fans paralyzed in disbelief for days. Big Smoke isn’t just the best villain in the GTA series. He’s also one of the best characters in the whole series.
