The five most famous villains in the Grand Theft Auto series

Without all the heinous antagonists featured in the series, the GTA games wouldn’t have been so enjoyable. Every good story needs a decent, old-fashioned villain to drive it forward and create tension between the two characters, whether it’s a clever old hag or a devious kingpin. GTA adversaries are the most heinous of them all. They can’t afford to be soft and flexible, given the overall concept of the game.
Devin Weston
The GTA series has a lot of greedy characters, each one more than the last. The self-proclaimed philanthropist is no exception. He simply can’t care about the poor he exploits while his riches are overflowing. Maybe if the old moron hadn’t been so bad, he would have been looked down upon less. He seems to be caught in the dark, unable to see past his self-indulgent motives, rather than showing ethically gray traits.
Sonny Forelli
In a city as volatile as GTA Vice City, it’s understandable to be cautious, but Forelli’s skepticism is overkill. His pessimism prevents him from trusting anyone, including his closest friends. He is also incredibly wild in his behavior. It almost has to be. Fear, rather than trust, must bind its victims. Forelli’s wild rants and terrifying warnings make up some of the most compelling episodes in GTA Vice City. Despite his flaws, he is universally considered one of the best villains in the series.
Drago Brevic
Another villainous villain who revels in his underground fame and considers it his life’s mission to cause as much misery as possible for the title character. The notable thing about Draco is that he has a connection to the protagonist, Niko. Both grew up in a Yugoslav village and fought in Yugoslav wars.
Frank Tenpenny
Frank Tenpenny is the film’s most despised adversary. Nothing in the game can stand up to his corrupt, mean, and dirty behavior. His quest for power has warped his psyche to the point that he can no longer distinguish between good and evil – not that any GTA antagonist or protagonist has ever been able to.
big smoke
The idiot who cheated Carl Johnson for a crack in fame and fortune is the villain fans can’t help but find love for every time they return to San Andreas. Smoke tells his friend as he dies that a selfish trickster like him has no choice but to die. While that doesn’t excuse what he did, it does explain that Smoke didn’t trick CJ out of animosity, making him the most human villain on the show.
