Fortnite players excited about No Build LTM rumor with classic BR gameplay

A Fortnite “No Build” LTM rumor is already catching the attention of the gaming community, which wants to revert to classic battle royale gameplay.
Epic Games‘ BR exploded in popularity at the height of the genre’s appeal in 2017. Initially, it was a wacky title that stood out among the most popular of the year, namely PUBG.
No one had Fortnite’s building mechanics down for the first few months. This meant that the game was teeming with over-the-top, even chaotic gameplay, which sparked initial interest in what it is today.
Since then, Fortnite players have taken Epic’s basic building blocks and completely refined the meta. This eventually led people to jump into the ’90s and engage in sweaty building battles through ranked and casual playlists, leaving some people longing for the good old days.
A Fortnite No Build LTM is proving popular among gamers looking to revert to more grounded gameplay.
Rumor “No Build” on Fortnite
A Fortnite dataminer called an image for a No Build LTM ‘GMatrixGames’ that they said Epic was testing. It immediately excited gamers to have a limited-time playlist that would essentially narrow the meta down to something casual.
“Epic is testing a ‘No Build’ playlist,” Reddit user “Lukeyguy_” said. “I’m not gonna lie, personally this is hype [from] someone who cannot build well.
Any significant leaks or confirmation from the developers regarding a No Build LTM has yet to surface, but the idea is already proving popular among the community.

“I’ve wanted a permanent mode with little to no build for ages,” said another user. “I have been playing for the first month of Fortnite but since then [Chapter 2] I haven’t been able to follow the build because I don’t play a lot.
“Yes,” said one player in all caps. “I cannot build to save my life. It’s perfect.”
While there are some players who understandably don’t find the allure of rumored mode, there are plenty of Fortnite fans hoping to relive the good old days.
“A lot of my friends will come back to Fortnite if it’s true,” said one fan. “Epic knows exactly what they’re doing and that’s a really good thing.”
